This is our troop's primary fund-raiser, so please try your best to sell as much popcorn as possible.  This effort raises the money that our troop uses to subsidize our trips and activities throughout the year.

 

Dates to remember:

1.     September 13th Popcorn kick-off.

2.  Sunday, September 11 th, Carrot Festival, Congregation Agudat Achim, 2117 Union St. at Route 7, Niskayuna, 8am-5pm.

2.     Saturday, September 17th, Show-n-sell at Latham Farms Wal-Mart 9am-5pm.

3.     Saturday, October 15 th, Show-n-sell at Latham Farms Wal-Mart 9am-5pm.

4.     Tuesday, November 1st, popcorn and prize orders due to Mr. Nayar at Scout meeting.

5.  Saturday, November 19 th popcorn available for pick up at the Nayar's house .

6.     November 29th, popcorn money due to Mr. Nayar at Scout meeting. 

 

Facts to know:

1.     Each scout must sell $200 of popcorn ($300 per family with siblings in the troop). Scouts participation in the Show and Sells will count towards the sales level requirement.

2.     For scouts not wishing to sell popcorn, the buy-out is $80 ($120 per family with siblings in the troop)

3.     For scouts selling less than $200, a percentage of buy-out will be due.

4.     Do not collect money from anyone until you deliver the popcorn.

5.     Make sure that names, addresses and phone numbers are on checks.

6.     Each scout may pick only one prize at his sales level or below.

7.     Prize amounts are based on popcorn orders only - not show-n-sell credit.

8.  We need to have two adults on hand at all times for the Show and Sells
